Kitchen at 49 headed up by two amazing women, Jody and Jessie, have been Elgin Free Range Chickens’ supporters for several years now.


Their mission is to cook tasty and nutritious meals and teaching others how to do so too.


They believe that getting family, friends or colleagues together around a table to eat, laugh and enjoy good food is healthy for the body, mind and soul. They are firm advocates of healthy choices to live an optimum lifestyle, packed with natural goodness.


We caught up with Jody, the Chef in the partnership, who shared these stunning Free Range Chicken recipes for you; our EFRC fans.

Kitchen at 49 offer their expertise for passionate wholesome cooking both socially and across a range of services. Fun-filled social, private and housekeeping cooking classes, each month, offer a new themed class menu for the attendees to cook tasty, food-in-season. Offering a wide variety of food options to suit various appetites and palates there is something for everyone.


With their love for wholesome food and customer service, this passionate Kitchen at 49 duo continue to grow their business from strength to strength. After many years in corporate, Jody decided to return to what she loves ~ getting families around the table to enjoy quality food and time together. With a classical chef training background and her passion for cooking and community, Kitchen at 49 was established in 2011. Jessie brings her sales, marketing and communication skills into the business, along with her love for people. Kitchen at 49 has become an intrinsic part of the local lifestyle.


Every week they select produce, package and prepare every last detail that finally gets brought to the table for Classes, Pre-Orders and Catering.
