We are passionate about giving back to the community and in addition to supporting feeding schemes and community organizations, we also look inward to our own staff to support them with opportunities.

When we opened our abattoir plant in the Grabouw industrial area we only appointed residents from the surrounding informal settlement which, at that point, had one of the highest unemployment rates in the region. The vast majority of our employees are women and through a focused approach to skills development and employment equity practices, we are proud to support our staff in achieving their life goals.
